The PCB is going to increase the number of women cricketers from 16 to 24 in the central contract. The budget for women in domestic cricket is also increasing, although the amount is not very much. A 4 percent additional allocation has been made in the domestic budget for women’s cricket. The allocation stands at Rs 3 crore 72 lakh. Apart from this, the PCB is taking responsibility for 12 first-class grounds itself. Rs 9 crore 36 lakh has been allocated for the preparation and maintenance of the pitches of these grounds.
